Whether you're repairing an existing system, upgrading a workstation, or piecing together a budget build from scratch, a refurbished motherboard gets the job done.
Every board is tested for full functionality, graded for condition, and backed by UN Tech's 12-month warranty. Compatible with a wide range of Intel and AMD platforms, our stock covers everything from office-grade MicroATX boards to high-performance ATX options built for multitasking and demanding workloads.
Are refurbished motherboards reliable?
Yes. Every motherboard at UN Tech is tested for full electrical and functional performance before it's listed. POST checks, slot testing, connectivity verification. Boards that don't pass don't get sold. You also get a 12-month warranty, so if something unexpected comes up, you're covered.
Will a used motherboard work with my existing CPU and RAM?
Compatibility depends on socket type, chipset, and RAM generation, same as any motherboard, new or used. Check that the board's CPU socket matches your processor (e.g. LGA1700, AM4, AM5) and that the RAM slots support your memory type (DDR4 or DDR5). Full specs are listed on each product page. Not sure? Reach out before you buy.
Do refurbished motherboards come with a warranty?
Every motherboard sold by UN Tech includes a 12-month warranty. If a fault develops within that period, we'll sort it out.
What form factors are available?
Stock varies, but we carry ATX, MicroATX (mATX), and Mini-ITX boards across Intel and AMD platforms. ATX suits full-size tower builds with more expansion slots; mATX is the sweet spot for compact office and workstation builds; Mini-ITX fits small form factor cases. Check listings for current availability.
Is buying a used motherboard worth it?
For repairs, budget builds, and system upgrades, yes. Motherboards don't degrade the way batteries or moving parts do, so a well-tested used board performs identically to a new one.
Does UN Tech ship motherboards Australia-wide?
Yes. Orders are packed securely to protect components in transit.
