Tiny footprint, full performance. Perfect for tight spaces, digital signage, or tucking behind a monitor. All the computing power, none of the desk clutter.

What are these actually good for?
Reception desks and point-of-sale systems where space is tight. Home offices where you don't want a bulky tower. Digital signage mounted behind displays. Home servers for Plex or network storage. Secondary workstations in workshops or spare rooms. Anywhere you need real computing power without the bulk.
Do they overheat?
No. Business-class mini PCs are engineered for small spaces with proper thermal management. Intel NUC, HP EliteDesk Mini, Dell OptiPlex Micro are designed for 24/7 operation. These aren't consumer electronics—they're built to sit on desks all day, every day.
Can I upgrade them?
Limited but possible. Most let you upgrade RAM and swap storage drives. That's usually enough. Need a graphics card? Wrong form factor. You need a tower for that.
Which model should I get?
Basic office work? Entry-level Intel i3 with 8GB RAM handles it fine, often under $400 range. Standard business use? Intel i5 with 8GB RAM is the sweet spot. Demanding software or media servers? Look at i7 models with 16GB RAM.
What's included?
Just the mini PC and power supply. No monitor, keyboard, mouse, or cables beyond power. Some include VESA mounting brackets for attaching behind monitors. Budget for accessories if starting from scratch.
WiFi and Bluetooth?
Many minis include WiFi and Bluetooth, but not all. Business models often skip WiFi assuming you'll use ethernet. Check specific listings. If it's not mentioned, assume wired ethernet only. USB WiFi adapters work fine if needed.
